Pensioners’ Christmas Party

Pensioners

We were delighted to welcome some of our senior citizens from our local parishes to join with us for a festive celebration.

Our guests were entertained by members of our ceilidh band, junior choir and S1 nativity group. A fabulous day was had by all.

Thanks to our kitchen staff for providing a fantastic Christmas lunch.

We look forward to welcoming our visitors back again next year.

S5/6 Christmas Ceilidh

Our S5 and S6 pupils danced the night away on Monday 21 December at their Christmas Ceilidh.

They enjoyed a disco as well as ceilidh dancing and posed in the photo booth!

Thanks to the senior pupils who helped organise the event, they did a great job!

Top Of The Bench Competition

On Thursday 26 November our ‘Top of the Bench’ team entered the regional heats of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s competition.

This took place at the University of Glasgow and consisted of an interactive quiz between all the competing schools.

Our team consisted of Matthew Jaffray (S3), Alexander Moffat (S3), Anna O’Reilly (S2) and Alannah Thomas (S4).

S3 Outward Bound

24 S3 pupils participated in an outdoor learning programme at Loch Eil Education Centre near Fort William.

The pupils had a great time participating in activities including gorge scrambling, canoeing and raft building while developing life skills such as resilience, problem solving and confidence.

The pupils were accompanied by Miss McGinn and Mr Fullerton and a fantastic time was had by all!

S6 helpers

A big thank you to Miss Sharkey and her group of S6 helpers who ensured the smooth running of the event.

Our young people will have gained a great deal from the experience and will hopefully have many successful interviews in the future!
