Wider Achievement is a key aspect of our work in Our Lady’s High School. As well as ensuring strong academic success, it is important that all our young people are given the opportunity to succeed outwith the classroom in a range of activities. The skills our young people develop through the wider achievements they undertake will enable them to develop the four capacities of a Curriculum for Excellence – becoming Responsible Citizens, Effective Contributors, Confident Individuals and Successful Learners. These skills will equip our young people for the world beyond school, enabling them to sustain positive post school destinations.
The wider achievements of our young people are celebrated in our fortnightly newsletter and posted on the home page of this website. We also celebrate wider achievements at assemblies and our end of year Awards Ceremonies.
