School Uniform

School Uniform

A reminder that the school uniform at Our Lady’s consists of a black skirt, formal black trousers, white shirt, school tie, black cardigan or jumper and a school blazer.

If anyone has a blazer that they no longer require then we would love to have it and they can be handed in to the school office at any time.

Employability Event

Employability Event

Four girls Alannah Littlejohns, Ellie O’Reilly, Heather Stirling and Ciara McGrath (S4) attended a technology event at JP Morgan in Glasgow. The girls had the opportunity to develop their own app and website whilst enjoying copious amounts of pizza and goodies! They had an amazing day and have already asked to be considered for next year. The focus of the event was to encourage more young women into the fields of technology, software development and engineering.

Unfortunately the girls did not win a prize (first prize was an iPad each!), but they did come second in their category and were a real fan favourite!

Muller Leadership Academy for Sport

Muller Leadership Academy for Sport

The North Lanarkshire Active Schools Team along with the support from Müller, ran the Müller Leadership Academy for Sport. Over the last 7 months pupils from various North Lanarkshire High Schools have been participating in a training programme providing vocational and educational courses through sport and community engagement.

The aim of the programme as well as offering certified qualifications, has been to provide the pupils with leadership, communication and teamwork skills.

The pupils have also had the opportunity to undertake work placements, where they can put what they have learnt into practise, and giving them the confidence to create a positive impact in their local community and for their futures.
Our superstars: Euan McDonald, Mollie Armstrong, Rebecca Johnston, Ellie Rennie, Vanessa Liu and Douglas Rodie.
