Snow Day
Look at our lovely playground all covered in snow and missing the footprints from all our pupils!
Grand Opening
A brand new hotel has opened in the local area today, all guests welcome from the furry to the slimey to the slithery and the spikey! Lovely warm and safe accommodation perfect for long winter snoozes. Built with love and care by a team of crafty little builders. Well done to Mason for the great name and well done to everyone for all your hard work in building the hotel. I’m sure it will be a hit with all the local bugs and critters!
We’re Going On A Word Hunt!
Primary 3 and 4 had fun looking for phonemes words in the playground.

Time to play!!!
Good morning,
I hope you and your family are keeping well during this very unusual and difficult time.
I hope your children are enjoying being at home.
Play is more crucial than ever before as it is beneficial on so many levels, emotional, physical and imaginative amongst many.
So please continue to encourage and support both free and structured play.

Indoor and Outdoor Play- Early Level
I hope our pupils have had a wonderful Easter break. I am sure they will have had plenty of opportunity for lots of play both indoor and outdoor, especially with this lovely weather.
Play is an essential part of every child’s life and is vital for the enjoyment of childhood as well as social, emotional , intellectual and physical development.
I have attached a link to a play grid for early years. This will be updated every fortnight.

Feed the Birds!
As part of our Eco Plan the pupils have identified that we need to encourage more birds into the playground. They made bird feeders and placed them around the playground. They have been identifying and counting the number of birds coming into our playground. 
Preparation for the Big Schools’ Birdwatch
P1-P3 were making bird feeders to encourage more birds into the school playground. They will be participating in the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch in the next few weeks. 
Outdoor Maths
P1-3 were enjoying the sun during their maths lesson today. They did a great job sorting 2D and 3D shapes.
