Free part-time nursery place, apply now
All children are entitled to a free part-time nursery place in line with Scottish Government guidance. Children who will be three before 1 March 2019 will be entitled to a funded nursery place during session 2018/19.
The funding dates for 2018/19 are as follows:
- Children who reach 3 years of age between 1 March and 15 August 2018: the start date will be 16 August 2018
- Children reaching 3 years between 16 August 2018 and 28 February 2019: the start date is the day after the child’s 3rd birthday
- Children applying to North Lanarkshire Council from another Local Authority (Cross Boundary Protocol will apply) : the start date will be the term after the child’s 3rd birthday (Private Partner Nurseries only)
Application Forms are available from any local authority nursery establishment or independent nursery who is a service provider for the council or by using the downloads section.
Letters notifying parents/carers of nursery placement decisions will be issued on Friday 4 May 2018.
