Primary 3-7 have been entered into this! It runs each day from 8am to 8pm so you can take part at home as well! Good luck everyone and enjoy!
Once again this year, we are celebrating the success of our children at our weekly assemblies. Every week, class teachers will choose one child to receive a certificate relating to our school values of respect, taking responsibility, staying safe, being inclusive, being happy and achievement. Aitkenhead Primary School is bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative. Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores awarded to local community projects. Here are some highlights from our End of Year Assembly which took place on Monday. Once again, two children from each class were chosen by their class teacher to receive the Sarah Warnock Award. New awards were also introduced this year based around the four capacities of Confident Individual, Effective Contributor, Responsible Citizen and Successful Learner. It was an emotional time for P7 as they entertained us with two songs
A New Breakfast service will begin in August. Breakfast will be served in the hall each morning between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. It will be staffed by Breakfast Supervisors and Kitchen staff. Children should enter the school through the main door. This do will be opened at 8.15am, children will not need to buzz for entry. There will not be adult supervision in the playground at that time so
Unfortunately the two pupils nominated by Miss Lalmy will miss the ceremony so have been presented their books already. Congratulations to you both for a very successful year in Primary 2 always working hard, being responsible and being successful learners. Well done, you should be so proud of yourselves! 🙂
