End of Year Awards Ceremony
Here are some highlights from our End of Year Assembly which took place on Monday. Once again, two children from each class were chosen by their class teacher to receive the Sarah Warnock Award. New awards were also introduced this year based around the four capacities of Confident Individual, Effective Contributor, Responsible Citizen and Successful Learner.
It was an emotional time for P7 as they entertained us with two songs about their time at Aitkenhead, and also thoughts about moving on to Uddingston Grammar in August. We wish them the best of luck for their future studies. We are also saying goodbye to Miss Hesford, who has been with us since August, and Miss Black who has been with us since February. We wish them well too.
