Are you getting into the Christmas spirit & showing kindness to your classmates and teachers? Are you spreading the joyful feelings by showing respect to all? If so you could be Decembers Pupil of the Month in Modern Languages. Winners will received their prizes and certificates at the end of each month. CANTEEN CHRISTMAS LUNCH The canteen Christmas lunch will be on Wednesday 4th December.

To celebrate Book Week Scotland first year pupils’ were visited by Gill Arbuthnott who is the author of numerous fiction, non-fiction and picture books for children and young adults. Book Week Scotland is an annual celebration of books and reading that takes place across the country. Gill was very engaging with the pupils’ and they all thoroughly enjoyed her visit. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Blether’.

As part of North Lanarkshire Council’s reading for pleasure initiative ‘Read to Succeed’ all first year pupils were gifted a book of their choice at Coltness High School.
