Read to Succeed
First year pupils’ from Coltness High attended the closing ceremony of North Lanarkshire Council’s reading for pleasure initiative ‘Read to Succeed’. All first year pupils’ across North Lanarkshire have had the experience of listening to an author in their schools. The author at today’s ceremony was Dan Freedman, author of the footballer series, Jamie Johnson. The pupils’ received a signed copy of one of his books from the author. Mrs Leckie.

PRIZEWINNERS The list for Senior Phase Prizewinners will go up on Monday pm and the meeting to give out tickets will be on Thursday period 5. LOCKERS Lockers will go on sale next Wednesday periods 1-4. Pupils will be tannoyed to the Support for Learning Department by year group. Pupils will require to have £15 (£10 for locker and £5 deposit which will be refunded when the key is returned at the end of term). Lockers are now allocated in set areas for each year group. If any pupil is struggling to cover the cost but has a desire to have a locker they can speak to
