Today’s announcement from the Scottish Government outlines the plan to reopen all schools on a full time basis from August. We are currently considering the practicalities and implications of this announcement and will await further clarification and guidance from government, particularly in relation to public health and scientific advice. Our priority is the safety of our pupils and staff across our network of primary, secondary and ASN schools, as well as our early learning and childcare settings. Water Safety

Each summer Scottish Water runs a water safety campaign to encourage everyone to stay safe around water. Reservoirs, rivers and lochs can be popular places for visitors and we want everyone to enjoy them safely. A big part of our social media campaign this year has focused on educating people about the risks of swimming and diving into reservoirs –  there are lots of hidden dangers like underwater machinery, strong currents and deep, cold water. From Monday 1st June current S2 pupils will be able to access coursework for their S3 subjects. Teams have been set up by departments. Please contact your Pupil Support Teacher if you have forgotten your subject choices.
