The Annual Voter Registration Canvass is underway, and residents in Lanarkshire are asked to ensure that they complete the Household Enquiry Forms (HEF) sent to each household. Residents will need to complete this form and return it as soon as possible to ensure that they will remain on the electoral register and are able to vote in any future elections. The return of the form will also save on local authority money as the Electoral Registration Officer is required by law to send a canvasser to households who do not return the form. Any S6 pupil interested in applying for this position should inform their Pupil Support teacher by the close of the school day on 28/06/2017.  Applicants will be expected to complete an application form and will be interviewed during the first week of the new term. Application forms are available from the school office and must be returned to your Pupil Support teacher by the close of the school day on Friday the 18/08/2017. Applicants will be advised of their interview date and time when they return to school after the summer holidays.

Our congratulations go to Mrs McAdam and her husband on the birth of their new baby Tom! He was born on 5th June weighing 8lbs 3oz.

Hayley Berry competed in the Scottish Schools Athletics Association event on Saturday and performed like a professional! Her attitude and desire to win was apparent from the off and she managed the following results:  Shotput Gold Championship record 11.17m and Discus Gold 31.45m. This was a PB for her in the shotput and she has also met the entry requirements for inclusion in the GBAA at Bedford in both the shotput and discus later on in the year. As always she has done herself, her parents, Law Athletics club and the school proud!
