Free Online Learning Modules Dyslexia Scotland are offering a fantastic CPD opportunity free of charge. They have created 3 online modules to raise awareness and develop your knowledge of dyslexia. The modules, which support GTC Scotland Professional Standards, Professional Update and Professional Recognition, have been developed primarily for teachers, school management and GTCS registered local authority education officers. Basketball Trip On Sunday Cancelled
Due to the adverse weather conditions impacting us over the past few days we regret to inform that the basketball trip on Sunday has been cancelled. It has been difficult to finalise details with the school and the Emirates being closed. For our basketball enthusiasts we will endeavour to run a similar excursion in the future.

Kirkland Ciccone, YA Author, Visits Coltness High School
Author Kirkland Ciccone visited Coltness High School on Thursday 22nd February to visit some of our 5th year pupils. This was Kirkland’s fourth visit to the school and he was just as entertaining and engaging as his previous visits. Kirkland has three published young adult books and he says “my books appeal to the freaks, geeks, punks, skaters, weirdos and wacky folk, as well as their parents”. He is launching his 4th book next month and is now in the process of writing an adult crime book. Written by Mrs Leckie.
