MADE4UINML2 – VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR S3 – S6

Made4UinML2 have following volunteer opportunities available for young people. Regular volunteering could earn you a Saltire award or count towards other awards e.g. the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

  • Zumbatomic Tuesdays from 3:30pm-4:30pm in the Made4U Centre. The group is led by qualified Zumba instructor Lynsey McCallum for P1 to P7’s. The role would involve supporting Lynsey by encouraging the children by joining in, monitoring behaviour and serving juice & biscuits.
  • After School Club Wednesdays 3:30pm-4:30pm in the Made4U Centre. The group is led by Made4U staff and adult volunteers. Youth volunteers would be expected to join in activities support and mentor the children and help the leaders deliver the session games, activities or crafts.
  • Youth Club Sundays 7:00pm-9:00pm at Coltness Community Centre. The group is led by Made4U staff and adult volunteers for P4 – S2’s. Youth volunteers would be expected to join in activities support and mentor the young people and help the leaders deliver the session games, activities or crafts.

RESPECT ME ANTI-BULLYING WEEK

We are celebrating Anti-Bullying week from 13th – 17th November! We will be launching this with special assemblies for S1-S3 on Monday morning, followed by our very own ‘Thunder Clap’ at the
end of period 3. We will also be joining the #respectmeans conversation on Twitter and encourage
you all to join in too. On Friday 17th, we will have another awareness event, a ‘Crazy Hair Day’
which you can all take part in to spread the message ‘Everybody different, Everybody equal’!
