Mrs Leckie’s third year Book Group pupil’s had a successful book buying trip to Waterstones book store in Glasgow to purchase many new books for the school library. The girls have been in the book group since first year and are avid book readers so they are very well qualified in choosing books that will appeal to pupils. We were given a guided tour of this huge store in Sauchiehall Street and we were privileged to be able to have our lunch in the Harry Potter Common Room.
