Barra, the Guide Dog Puppy once again visited our school to be presented with a cheque for £338.30 that had been raised by holding a Christmas Craft Stall in the library. He is a very special puppy to our school as the ASDAN group in the school were given the honour of naming him when he was born last year. Barra was accompanied to the school by his own Puppy Walker and other Puppy Walkers’ from the Chatelherault Cohort. Miss Johnson’s and her 1A2 English class also visited and the Puppy Walkers gave them an insight into how Barra is coping with her training so far. We hope to have one more visit from him before he goes off to complete his formal Guide Dog training.
