Allison Foubister, 1L2, created a new comic book character called Gary the Super Dog and won the 2016 P7 transition competition. The school librarian sets a competition each year for the P7 transition pupils and this year it was to create a comic book character and also provide a brief description or story to go with it.
It was difficult to choose a winner as the entries were of a high standard, however Allison produced a great character and storyline to go with her very detailed drawing.
The runner-up was Sophie Anderson, 1S1, with her character Alisa the Merif’wa.
All entries can be seen in the library. Well done Allison!
