Morbheinn Hendry, Mandy Tsang and Eve Gardiner took part in the Sewing Bee ‘Make a Dress in a Day’ Challenge at Dumfries House. The pupils were asked to design a dress in response to the brief ‘Engineered Geometric’. The pupils had to make the dress using white linen with accents of black. Pupils were also challenged with incorporating a surprise trimming into their design on the day. The design was judged by the sewing bee judges and the award was presented by HRH Prince Charles and Camilla. Not surprisingly, the girls achieved first place with their outstanding design! It was a fantastic achievement and we are all very proud of our excellent fashionistas! Well done girls! A special thanks to Miss Finlayson and Miss McNicol who supported the girls in their project.
