‘It’s A Knockout’ Participant Advice – Sunday 19th June – 9.30am – 2 pm
Thank you for taking part in our ‘It’s A Knockout’ challenge! We hope you find the information in this sheet helpful, and if you have any further questions contact Miss McAndrew at Coltness High School on 01698 274920.
Before the day:
- Make sure you are approaching sponsors to make the £20 minimum cost. If you reach more than that, all the better!
- Chat to your team mates and ensure that everyone has all the necessary information.
- Make sure consent forms have been returned!
- Hand in sponsorship money to the school office or Miss McAndrew. The more you raise, the more points you earn for your team!
- Your team can make a ‘joker’ card. It doesn’t matter what size, but this can be used during the games to double points on a chosen game.
On the day:
- Registration: We will open for registration at 9.30am until 10.30am. Please do not wait until the last minute to register. It will be a busy day, so the earlier you come the sooner we can get everyone in place! You can also pay in sponsor money at this time.
- What to bring: Bring plenty of water, sun cream and you may wish a change of clothes – you will get wet! Bring some layers in case it is cold, we can’t always rely on Scottish summer to heat us up! Also bring money, there will be burgers on sale as well as ice-cream and other treats. If you wish, you can also bring your own snacks to keep you energised!
- What to wear: Anything that is suitable for exercise, is flexible and comfortable to wear, including socks and trainers. You can come in fancy dress if you like – it will earn you extra points!
- Have fun!! The purpose of the day is to raise cash for Vision Africa, raise the profile of the school, but most of all, to have lots of laughs together!
