Guide dog puppies Krista , Carmel and Delias visited the school yesterday to collect hand knitted blankets that had been knitted specially by staff and pupils for them and other Guide Dog puppies. Thirteen blankets have been gifted so far and we are still knitting! We are hoping that the pups will keep their blankets throughout their puppy years, their formal training and into their retirement.
Guide dog puppy walkers Anne, Leslie and John were also presented with a cheque for £25 and a Guide Dog collection tin with a further £20. Each year 3rd year ASDAN pupils have been fundraising for Guide Dogs for 4 years as part of their Charities Challenge.
