Congratulations to former pupil David Turnbull who reached another milestone in his footballing career by making the Motherwell FC first team bench for the last game of the season against Celtic at Parkhead on Sunday. Although he didn’t make it onto the pitch the fact that Motherwell Manager Mark McGhee was willing to let him savour the atmosphere of a 49,000 crowd at Parkhead on the final day of the season clearly means he has big plans for him next season. The score aside this would have been a fantastic experience for a 16 year old finishing his first full year at his local club. As always the school and it’s community wish David all the best and we look forward to hearing of his progress next year.
