The Library Murder Has Been Solved!

Thank you to all the pupils who entered the Book Week Scotland Murder Mystery Quiz. All the winning entries were entered into a prize draw and Leigha Rigby, 1A1, was drawn as the winner of the £10 gift voucher and a selection of books.

Leigha discovered that Miss Forrest, Home Economics teacher at Coltness High School has been apprehended and charged with the murder of Mr Rae, PE teacher at the same school.

It is alleged she murdered him by putting poison in a batch of newly baked cakes. Apparently Mr Rae was a great lover of fancy cakes and could not resist eating them when he thought no one was watching!

The theme of this year’s Book Week Scotland was ‘Journeys’ and many pupils and staff from the school participated in the event by sharing their dream journey and what book they would be reading on their way.
