What is GLOW?
Glow provides a username and password that gives Scottish learners and educators access to a number of core web services and online resources for education. Glow is funded by the Scottish Government.
Glow accounts are available to all schools and education establishments across Scotland, including independent schools and teacher education colleges/universities.
Glow accounts provide a variety of safe and secure cloud-based services for collaborative, innovative and social learning, co-creation, easy web publishing.
Glow is not just one place or platform. Instead, Glow offers a username and password that gives access to a number of different web services: RM Unify, Microsoft Office 365, WordPress blogs, Wikispaces wikis and Adobe Connect as part of the Broadcasting service.
All pupils in the school have a username and password for GLOW. If pupil forgets their login details they can ask any teacher to re-issue their username or to re-set their password. All account/ technical issues should be directed to Mr Hamilton in the Technical Dept.
