ELITE PERFORMANCE players who are part of the new School of Football group recently established in the school recently underwent strenuous medicals and physiotherapy check ups as part of the scheme.  The group of twenty players from throughout Lanarkshire receive a football coaching session each morning from 8.30am until 10am prior to start of their academic lessons.  The medicals were carried out by staff from Hampden to ensure the players are in peek condition.

Mr Gordon Craig the Scottish FA Coach in charge of the newly established elite performance school of football has expressed his delight at the skill and commitment shown by the group of players he has selected to work with in the school. Sessions take place on the new Astroturf each morning starting at 8.30 am.

In his first week, Gordon Craig, coach at Braidhurst has been very impressed with the new facilities including a state of the art pitch. The players have all made an excellent start working very hard on their skills in the coaching sessions so far.

Earlier in the month Scotland captain Darren Fletcher helped launch the initiatve at a formal event at Hampden which featured many of the new Braidhurst intake.
