On Friday 15th November the school’s talented sax ensemble were selected to perform at the SQA Star Awards at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow. This prestigious event gathered together pupils and students, teachers, lecturers, employers, and training providers from across Scotland and further afield to celebrate a host of educational success stories. The Braidhurst pupils attracted much well deserved praise, including high praise from Deputy First Minister of Scotland and Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills John Swinney who afterwards described their performance as outstanding.
