Good morning P4/5 and happy Monday! A great way to start your week would be the free PE lesson on the Body Coach You Tube channel! After that you can start work on the tasks below.
- Spelling
Click on the link below and copy your spelling words out 3 times.

Log on to Bug Club and make a start reading some of the books Mrs Manning has added to your page.
- Numeracy
Log on to Sumdog – Primary 5:focus should be on decimals.
Primary 4:focus should be on money
Mrs Manning has set 2 challenges for you to work on and will follow your progress on Sumdog.
- Topic Work
Finally you will see on the class blog home page that Mrs Manning has set a research task on the rainforest.
This is an exciting new way of learning for us and you are in charge of organising the order you complete the tasks I have set. It is very important as we discussed in class that you continue with your education at home whilst the schools are shut. There are also some great links to free resources…plenty to do!
Remember to check out the P4/5 Glow class teams page. We can use this as a chat room and share our work and any problems we are having with tasks. I will be checking in regularly so keep in touch and let me know how your day is going.

- Complete STEM lego challenge and post a picture on team page. OR Take a picture of you working from home and post on team page.

New challenges starting today so try and complete these.
Literacy
Select one of the stories you read yesterday and write a short summary. (Remember and use Somebody Wanted But SO THEN)
Remember to write the name of the book and author and try to upload your work on to the team page.
25.03.20 Rainforest Computing Challenge
Use the rainforest link above to help you complete this challenge.
- Create a table (2 columns 12 rows) . You have been taught the skills in ICT to be able to create a table.
- Create a glossary of words about the rainforest.
- Search the internet to find out the meaning of the words you choose.
- Use different font, colour and size of text to make you glossary stand out.
Display your completed tables in the P4/5 Team page.
Mrs Manning has also set a new assessment on Sumdog and remember to log on to Bug Club and keep up with your reading.
