Literacy

This week we have been continuing with our one word spelling and Phase 4 and Phase 5 phonics. We loved getting to use the I-pads on Monday for the tasks too. We also tried extremely hard with our writing. We all continued on a given story, some of us ‘Halloween Horror’ and others ‘The Doomed Voyage.’ Everyone completed the task well and we chose our star writers. Congratulations to Angus, Karlie, Vladimir, Sophia, Daisy and Aarron.

Numeracy

This was our last week working on time. We also had great fun completing tasks on the Ipads in class.

IDL

This week we researched the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses, completed word searches, added sand to our hieroglyphs and drew some funny mummies.

Other

Aarron chose as his reward to teach the class. He was kind enough to bring in some beautiful hand painted rocks and organised a scavenger hunt for the class. Everyone had amazing fun!

Gregor is our Paths pupil of the week this week due to his continued hard work in everything he does. He has been fantastic in class this year so far, thoroughly deserved.
