Active Schools provide a timetable of after school activities which change each term. Once the activities have been agreed we will post online registration form for these events and confirmation of start and finish dates.

This term we have confirmed afterschool activities for:-

Sports Hall Athletics, Monday 16th September to 28th October, 3pm – 4pm for P5, 6 and 7 Boys and Girls .

Heptathlon Monday 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th November, 3pm – 4pm for P5, 6 and 7 Boys and Girls. 

Country Dancing, Tuesday 17th September to 19th November, 3pm to 4pm, for P5, 6 and 7 Boys and Girls. 

Girls Netball, Wednesday 18th September to 27th November, 3pm to 4pm for P5, 6 and 7.

Boys Football, Wednesday 18th September to 9th October, 3pm to 4pm for P5, 6 and 7. 

Primary 4s will get input in term 2 & 3

The school is also regularly involved in sporting events such as athletics, football, netball and rugby.  Pupils in Primary 4 take part in a block of swimming lessons at the local swimming pool.

St Michael’s have also recently received their Gold Award from Sport Scotland in recognition of the many sporting opportunities        offered to our pupils.

We also have an annual festival of sport involving all pupils.
