Through our Pupil Equity Funding, we have appointed a Health and Wellbeing Coach,
Miss Kayleigh Macdonald, who supports all classes in PE lessons, organises playground activities and has set up a range of after school sports clubs. She also provides opportunities for pupils to have active play sessions indoors on wet days.
The school is regularly involved in sporting events such as athletics, football, netball and rugby. Pupils in Primary 6 are given the opportunity to take part in a programme of cycling proficiency and are encouraged to take the subsequent written and practical tests leading to the award of a cycling proficiency certificate and badge.
We have an annual festival of sport involving all pupils.
Our after school/lunchtime clubs include country dancing, athletics, cross country running, netball, basketball, football, multi skills and homework.
