Hello world,
Today it may stop raining here in Paisley, Scotland. We are Primary 7b brilliant bloggers.
We are a class of 32 and are absolutely amazing.
In future weeks we will be blogging about our school life and hope you enjoy our Blog.
Primary 7b
‘Top of the morning’ to all you bloggers!
This is our second post and we are going to tell you a bit about our learning. Our topic is ‘Extreme Earth’ and it is extremely excellent!! In this topic we learn all about the natural disasters of earth. We also learn how vicious volcanoes appear. It is so cool being able to learn how it all starts.
Miss Paterson set us a task that was so good, I could just eat it… we did eat it!! Our task was to cut open a mars bar and compared it to the earth’s materials. We discovered that the earth has layers just like the yummy goodness of a Mars Bar.
We also learned recently that the earth is just like a puzzle and the tectonic plates move around very slowly and sometimes can cause earthquakes, volcanoes and mountains.
Thats all from super 6C, keep waiting for more!!
Fairwell, toodle doo, in a while crocodile, adios amigos, ciao, bon voyage, see you later alligator, haste ye back!!
We are a fun and creative class. Primary 7a are hard workers and we always try our best.
Primary 7a is big class of 32 pupils. We work hard in West Primary School. West Primary School is based in Newton Street in Paisley. Paisley is situated just outside Glasgow and Paisley is famous for it’s old mills. Paisley is in the West of Scotland and it rains a lot here.
Primary 7a will be Blogging every week and we will Blog about our trips, school events, topics, events and our house system.
We would appreciate your comments.
We are P6/7 at Kelloholm Primary School and are extremely excited about starting our new blog. We hope to learn about what others are doing in their schools and we want to share our learning with all of you too!
Happy blogging everyone!
From P6/7
‘Howdy’ from Primary 6C at Holy Cross Primary. This is our new blog, hope it is a good one! We are really looking forward to blogging about our year, it will be fun! I bet you wish you were in this class …Imagine the best place in the world, it would be here in P6C.
Our class is out of this world… We have 10 super boys and 15 amazing girls. We have 6 groups and our group names are ‘ Movie Making Sheep-Dogs’, ‘Swimming Rose-Gold Cars’, ‘ The Little Dog Gamers’, ‘The Chocolate Marshmallow Gods’, ‘Minion Pigs V Elvis’ and ‘The Mega Dogs’. We had to create group names by seeing what we had in common. This is why they are so wacky!
We want to blog because it will be fun and we can share our learning with you. We can take lots of pictures and videos and you can comment on our fun learning.
We hope you enjoyed our first blog and remember to check it out every week! We will nail this year.
P6C and Miss Paterson.
Task today is Social Enterprise.
Search for a Social Enterprise based in Glasgow. Record the name and address of the Social Enterprise.
What are the aims and objectives?
What have they already achieved?
Any other interesting information about your Social Enterprise?
What is the difference between a Social Enterprise and a Charity?
We are P7a from Whinhill Primary! We have just started blogging this year and we have enjoyed it so far. P7 are participating in the Blogging bootcamp and this is our first post with many more to come. Recently we have just set up our e-portfolios and are going to write our first posts about our learning soon. As we are new to blogging, we have made a blogging guide to help us become more confident. Me and the class all suggested some names for the guide and everybody liked my idea ‘Blogopedia’ because its like wikipedia and you can look at it for information on how to blog. I think my idea is #Epic!
When we were writing the guide we all thought of things to be written that Mrs Hunter and anyone reading it would want to know about our learning in P7. We thought it was a good idea to add a photo of our learning too. I hope lots of people visit the blog and like our Blogopedia.
We write our name on the Blog Watch display in class when we are blogging. There are lots of ideas on that board where we can look at examples of good blog posts.
P7 love to blog as we can express our interests. Our blog lets a varied audience from all around the world interact with what we are doing in our class. It lets individual pupils share their experiences and achievements.
As we continue to blog we will develop key skills for example literacy, ICT and typing. We also become more aware of cyber safety.
Internet safety is very important. We know that we should never share our passwords or personal information. Our blog is really safe although it is available for the world to view.
Blogging has lots of benefits such as social skills, classroom community and global connections. It means we are constantly improving on our literacy skills for the future. It also enhances our online confidence.
Not only is blogging beneficial, our whole class love writing and commenting on posts. Our class enjoy answering our ‘Question of the Week,’ and giving their own opinions on class debates.
Furthermore, P7 have established a new Student Media Team who are responsible for the upkeep of our blog, taking classroom ‘snapshots’ of learning, writing class newspapers and updating other social media outlets.
We hope that this explains why our class blog and encourages others to start blogging too.

Welcome to our blog. P6/7 M/S will be updating this on a regular basis so that we can share our learning with you. We decided to blog so that we could all have easy access to our learning. It will give us the opportunity to learn how to create and use a blog effectively whilst keeping others updated on our progress.
