From S4 and beyond pupils will work towards gaining qualifications which will step them towards a positive destination when they leave our school.
Subject choice
At S2 pupils will make their first subject choice for what they take in S3. They then refine this choice for S4 – as these subjects will then be the qualification they try to acheive.
Qualifications Scotland
Formally known as SQA, this is the body that sets the curriculum for our senior phase. They set the assignments and exams.
Pupils at senior phase will need to study regularly to achieve the best results they can. We put in place many supports – but at home pupils will also need to put the effort in.
UCAS
This is the body that we apply to for places at university and college.
Information evening
We held our annual senior phase information evening and presented lots of information to pupils and their families.
