Learning for Sustainability Week

This week was Learning for Sustainability Week at Balornock. Our favourite activity this week was our visit to the Fire Station on Wednesday. During our visit the fire fighters were called to an emergency but it turned out to be a false alarm. Learning for Sustainability Week at Balornock will begin on Monday 30th April. This will be an all encompassing themed week for our pupils addressing learning within Eco Schools, RRS and HWB. SOS Sports Festival

Raising Money for Marie Curie in our Daffodil Tea

The boy and girls in Primary 1a performed a lovely Spring song in our Daffodil Tea. The song was called Spring Chicken and we shared it with all of the families and friends as they sat with a cup of tea/coffee and delicious cake. Another Busy Week!

This week we have been exploring how computer coding works. You can use coding to make games and animations. Lewis really liked how it was quite challenging but when it worked it was really rewarding. In numeracy we were learning how to add fractions together.
