Weekly Update – 3 November 2025

Pantomime Visit – a reminder was sent on Friday regarding payment of our whole school visit to the Panto.  Thank you for the extra payments from families to support others.

Toydrive – Last week we launched our campaign as a NE Fife Toydrive drop off point.  Please see last week’s update for details.  If you wish to make a self-referral to receive gifts from the Toydrive, please complete the following form, in confidence: Toydrive Self-Referral Form.

Term 2 Learning Overviews – Please follow this link. to view planned whole school and class learning for this term.  Your child’s class teacher’s email address can also be found on the Overview.  Once you select your child’s class you should enter the page password.  We are keen to receive your feedback on the usefulness of the Learning Overview: click here.

Pupil Progress Meeting Booking System – You will receive an email today with a link to book one meeting per pupil on either 20th or 25th November.  Please book promptly and allow time before your appointment to view children’s learning and at least 20 minutes between a sibling’s appointment (if applicable).

School Meals Survey
 
Fife Council’s Catering Team would like to hear your views on food within your child’s school:  We want to offer healthy, appealing and well-presented meals for our children and young people. This survey is anonymous, and the information will be used to plan our menus and we will make positive changes based on your responses.

  • Friday 7 November – House Games – Archery – will be run by the 6 House Captains. This is an opportunity for everyone to earn extra house points and try a new sport.  Usual school uniform should be worn.
  • Monday 10 November – Odd Socks Day launches our Anti-Bullying focus fortnight “Power for Good”. Everyone should wear their oddest odd socks to celebrate that it is great to be different and yourself!
  • 12 November – P6 Internet Safety Talk – PC Emma Fisher
  • 12 November – 5 – 5:30 pm – P6 & P7 Transforming Learning Parent/Carer Presentation on Teams. More information to follow.
  • 10 – 21 November – P1-7 Anti-bullying focus fortnight
  • Thursday 13 November – Dress down for Children in Need. As part of our journey to being a Gold Rights Respecting School the children would like to ask that everyone makes a small donation to dress down on this date.
  • Friday 14 November – Inservice Day 3. School closed to pupils.
  • Thursday 20 November or Tuesday 25 November – more information will be emailed regarding booking one pupil progress meeting on either of these dates.
  • Friday 21 November – P1-3 Book Bag Gifting Ceremony in classes. An email will be sent with further details.
  • Countdown to Christmas will follow mid-November.
