We started to create our own world war II children ready for evacuation.
Primary 7 were practising their passing and shooting skills with a basket ball during possession games.
Primary 7 are learning about leaders from World War II. We used our I.C.T. time to research the leaders from all the different countries at that time.
Primary 7 worked extremely hard this afternoon during their P.E session.
They tackled a variety of high intensity stations and took part in fitness challenges across the stage.
See if you can guess what the different stations were from the photographs.
Primary 7 had a fantastic day learning how to keep themselves safe, through a variety of activities at Safety in the Park!
The weather did not stop us from having fun!
Today we did an activity using a polo mint and thread that blew our minds. Let’s see how many parents/siblings are blown away!
We learned all about our mindset and how we can change our mindset.
We were using people to represent numbers and moving them a certain number of places in the place value order. We were multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000. We used a hoop to represent our decimal point.
Today P7a nd P7b worked together to develop their passing and dribbling skills during outdoor P.E.
Today we were working on our communication skills. Our task was to lower the cane as a group. We felt challenged because there was lots of blaming within the group and people were not co-operating during the task.
We soon realised that to be successful, we need to be working as a team. We will persevere and try this activity again.
This week we had our last lesson of our bikeability topic. We also had our theory test to predict if we passed or not. Thanks to our expert bikeability skill the entire class passed with more than 15+ in our test and solid monouvering got us past bikeability level 2. We all had great fun over the course the 8 lessons of bikeability. Some people were invited to do bikeability level 3 if it is going to be carried out in our school. in bikeability we learned some monouvres like right turn, left turn, starting and stopping, emergency stop, passing parked cars and making a U-turn.Bikeability was a great experience for us all and we will take it into the future. we did our m-checks and check our helmet that it wouldn’t fall of. We went on a busy road and normal road .
