How to Get Help From Our Healthier Minds Service

There may be times when you feel that you could benefit from more support for your mental health and wellbeing. If you are feeling low and need some help, the best thing to do is to speak to a trusted adult either at home or at school.  However, if you are unsure who to speak to, you can contact the Samaritans for free on 116 123.  They have specially trained volunteers who will listen and help 24 hours a day.  For further information, you can visit samaritans.org.

If you are aged 8-18 years old and live in East Renfrewshire, you or your parent/carer can contact the service for support:

Please not that the Healthier Minds Service is not an emergency helpline and referrals are reviewed within office hours (Monday-Friday).

In an emergency situation, please seek medical attention from your local GP or A&E.
