Targeted

Children and young people in East Renfrewshire aged 8 -18 years old who are struggling with their mental and emotional wellbeing have access to timely and appropriate support.

This support is identified and allocated through our multi-agency screening hub; ensuring that the right support is given at the right time in non-emergency situations.

Healthier Minds Screening Hub
Our multi-agency screening hub partners meet regularly to review and discuss the referrals of children, young people and their families, allocating the most appropriate support based on their needs.

What happens next?

After discussion at the screening hub a member of the team or a trusted adult will talk to you about the support that has been offered.

How to access support

If you are feeling low and need some help speak to a trusted adult, either at home or at school. However, if you would rather contact us directly, click on the link below to share your contact details and a member of the Healthier Minds team will call you back.

Please note there will be limited monitoring of the self-referral form over the holiday period.

Referrals submitted between 20th December – 5th January will be contacted from 6th January 2025 (within 14 days).

Sleep Action – Practical advice and support if you are having trouble with sleeping.

Beat – Resources and help for you or someone you know with disordered eating, as well as a support helpline and live chat. Call 0808 8010 432 from 1pm -9pm Monday to Friday, 5pm-9pm on weekends and bank holidays or Webchat here.
