Class Blog- 11th February

“In R.M.E we learnt about Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah. Boys have a Bar Mitzvah when they turn 13. It means they are responsible for their own decisions and actions. For girls it’s a Bat Mitzvah at 12. People throw sweets as a blessing.” Zakir

“In Drama we were improvising. We started off by playing a game called “Yes, let’s.”  Someone calls out something and we have to do it. We also played freeze. Mrs Hutchison calls out something, we do it and then she shouts freeze. Then we played Gibberish. We started off with someone doing something in gibberish, someone had to translate what they were doing for the audience.” Charlotte

“In topic we carried on creating presentations. The presentations were about animals in the polar regions. There were penguins, polar bears, arctic foxes, lemmings, and walruses and more. At the end we showed our presentations to the class.” Olivia

“In writing this week we worked on our stories. We had to describe settings and characters. We used the characters that we made up. Some people wrote happy stories, sad stories, spy stories and creepy stories. Lots of different genres.” Isla

“In maths we did some real life word problems involving measure. We had to find the total length of 6 pencils, 15 rubbers and dividing the class into 8 pieces.” Ross G

“In French we played a French version of Simon says called Jacque a dit. We practised our classroom instructions using the game.” Kaitlyn

Unfortunately this week we don’t have any photos as we have a few technical difficulties!
