How to have meaningful career conversations with young people – Thursday 27 January 2022 (6.30pm-7.15pm)
Parents and carers can learn more about the power of having meaningful careers conversations with their young person on a free webinar later this month.
Careers Advisers, Kay Hume and Mhairi Galashan, from Skills Development Scotland will talk about the key things to remember in steering career conversations. They will offer hints and tips as well as introduce parents and carers to My World of Work.
Following their online presentation, there will also be an opportunity to ask the Advisers questions to support your career conversation planning.

Saturday 3rd March Supported Study
Due to the school closure, all supported study sessions scheduled for Saturday are cancelled.
S1/S2 Handwriting Group tutorials
The Pupil Support Department are currently developing ways to increase pupil confidence with literacy skills.
Mr MacFarlane is setting up tutorials to focus on strategies to improve handwriting and develop confidence in writing skills.

Dyslexia Scotland – Glasgow East Ren Branch are holding a Supporting Dyslexia at Home open meeting on Wednesday 6th May.

East Renfrewshire Carers’ Centre has organised meetings for parents who are looking after a child or young person on the Autistic Spectrum and parents who look after a girl with Asperger’s.
