There is an Art & Design Exhibition this weekend being held at Strathclyde University.
Advanced Higher Art & Design Event
We have 3 pupils who were picked as examples of excellence from the whole of Scotland. It is a really interesting and informative exhibition where examples of the best Advanced Higher folios in the country as displayed. Entry is free and is open on Saturday from 10am to 5pm. If you are interested in a future career in art or want to see what type of work you can do in an Advanced Higher folio go to the exhibition.

Reminder for S1 pupils involved in the Jewellery lunch club, to try and bring a packed lunch and go straight to the Technical Department.

Do you like tables? Do you like Tennis? What about playing tennis ON a table?
Table Tennis @ MCHS starts on Thursday the 19th of September in the New Gym. All you need to do is change into your trainers and swap your shirt for a T-shirt. Eat your lunch before you come along so you don’t get crumbs on our tables.
Everyone is welcome – the club would especially encourage absolute beginners to come
A reminder to all pupils that there is a lunch time netball club open to all pupils. It runs on a Thursday. Any one interested please come along. Remember full PE kit and a packed lunch with water/juice.
