The trip to see author Sophie McKenzie takes place on Thursday 12 Sept this week.
All pupils who are going on the trip must come to the library at the start of lunchtime on Thursday.
Please remember to bring a packed lunch to eat quickly in the library.
We will be leaving at 12.40pm to go to Williamwood. Remember to bring some money if you want to buy a book to get signed at the event. Prices range from £6.99-£9.99.
Alternatively, you can bring your own copy of any Sophie McKenzie book to get signed.
Any pupil interested in becoming part of the Mearns Castle Eco-Committee should attend a short meeting in Science Lab A8 on Monday 09 Sept during lunch at 12:30.

Mr McKenna has written to invite S5 parents to a Curricular Information Eveningon Tuesday 10 September 2013, 6:00pm – 6:45pm
The purpose of the evening is to increase the links between learning in school and learning at home for pupils in S5. Mr mcKenna is keen to share information with parents on the key aspects of successful learning at this important stage in our pupils’ education.
The first payment (deposit) of £75 for the Business and Computing Faculty trip for S3 to the Business and ICT Live Conference in Disneyland Paris is due to be paid on Monday 2 September 2013.

Andrew Mullen improved on his performances in last year’s Paralympics by coming back from Montreal with a trio of IPC Swimming worlds medals.
Andrew, who is a former Scottish disability sport athlete of the year, claimed 50m butterfly bronze and silver in the 50m backstroke and 200m medley. As with last year’s Paralympics, Andrew broke personal best times in all his events.
