Skills Development Scotland – Exam Results
Skills Development Scotland will be running drop-in sessions following the issue of exam results.
The drop-in sessions will be held at The Edge (Newton Mearns) and our office in Barrhead on the 6th & 7th August between 1.30pm – 4pm. No appointments are required.

Jamie’s ready for the Commonwealth Games
MCHS pupil Jamie Rigg has been selected as a Commonwealth Baton Carrier.
Jamie will carry the Baton on Wednesday 16th July from Clarkston Hall to Clarkston Road.
Jamie pictured above wearing his Baton Holder’s uniform, will be carrying the Baton at approximately 1:25pm.
Commonwealth Flags in Citizenship classes
S2, S3 and S4 have been busily producing Commonwealth Flags in Citizenship classes. These Flags will be used to create bunting to line the Route the Queen’s Baton will take through East Renfrewshire on the 16th July.
Of course, there has to be a bit of competition with the best flags being awarded with House points. The winners were Emma Smith and Javairia Sami, Helen Hewitt and Mahnoor Rahman.
