Huge congratulations to Iain Dunlop, Matthew Hill, Ben Matthews (ex-pupil), Connor Howe, Craig Lambie, Johny Davis, Josh Gray, Stephen Cochrane (ex-pupil) and Kevin Archer (ex-pupil) who have been selected as part of the U19 Scotland training squad for the 2012 Junior World Championships in Finland.
The full U19 training squad of 29 players will be cut to 23 before the tournament so these young men have a lot of hard work ahead of them and will be competing for a national cap. Good luck!
On Sunday 30th October Mary’s Meals are holding an open day with a series of events looking at the work that charity undertakes in the developing world including Malawi. There will also be a talk by the founder of Mary’s Meals along with music and stalls.
For the last three years Mearns Castle has helped support this charity so if you are keen to see where your money and backpacks go then this event is for you.
If you are in S4-S6 and are interested in attending then please see Mr Hutchison.
