All S1 and S2 pupils who put themselves forward for the school show, please note rehearsals start for you on Monday 21st January. Please come up t o room C4 at 3.30pm until 5pm.

Rehearsals for “Our House” are now every Monday 3.35 – 5pm in Room C3. S1 and S2 pupils who auditioned and put their names forward will be called to rehearsal in a couple of weeks time – you’ve not been forgotten!
After the success of last years show the Performing Arts department are exploring options for this year. However we need a talented cast and crew to take part.
So, if you are interested in being the new “Aidan” or indeed the new “Aidan’s mum” then please attend a short meeting next Tuesday 9th October at 12.40pm in room C4.
All year groups welcome – encourage a friend to come with you!
Mearns Castle School Show took place on Wednesdays 13th and Thursday 14th June.

Tickets are still on sale from the school office for the show next week Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th June – £3. The songs of Lily Allen, Kings of Leon, Take that and Michael Buble help tell the story of a school facing closure – there is romance and comedy along the way with the “priority girls” making life difficult and star turns from Mr McGlynn and Miss Cartledge.
Tickets will be on sale at the school office from the 14th May, price £3 each
If you are interested in radio, journalism, media or even music there is a fantastic opportunity to be a DJ. We need a group of 5 pupils to produce and present a show on the 12th June between 3pm and 4pm for Go Live @ Pulse FM. Your group will have a 45 minute slot to fill with discussion and music of your choice.
