We are currently seeking to recruit a teacher of French and Spanish.
We require an appropriately qualified teacher to temporarily cover a 0.4 fte job-share teacher of French and Spanish post.
The position will be on a Monday and Tuesday from late January 2015 at least until Friday 1 May 2015.

Sexuality: Awareness and Vulnerability for parents of children on the Autism Spectrum
Does your son or daughter have Autism or Asperger’s? Would you like to feel more confident in offering support around sexuality?
We are holding an evening workshop session for parents of children/young people aged 10 and over, facilitated by Alison Burton and we would like to invite you to come along. The session will take place on Wednesday 29th October at Sandlers Cottage in Eastwood Park 6.30-8.45pm

Our S4 parents’ meeting will take place on Thursday 2 October 2014.
Following consultation with our Parent Council the school is introducing a new intuitive and easy to use online system for booking appointments for Parents’ meetings. This new system will allow parents to choose their own appointment times with teachers and receive an email confirming appointments.
A letter was sent home today to all S4 parents/carers informing them about the arrangements for the upcoming Parents’ meeting as well as a guide explaining how to use the online booking system.

You may remember that in previous years the weather was so severe that we had to carry out an emergency closure of the school. Our school, like other schools in East Renfrewshire then remained closed for almost one week.
As we move towards Winter it seems appropriate to write to parents to describe our procedures should we require to close the school in an emergency situation caused by severe weather.
