Pupils from S6, S5, S3 and S2 have been busy putting together a report of their visit to the Emirates Arena for the BBC Get Inspired Sports event. They are currently editing their content and working hard with staff from BBC Scotland to meet their strict deadline. The whole report will go live on the BBC School Report website for the December practice news day by this afternoon so watch this space!!

Mearns Castle pupils become journalists for a day
We are currently seeking to recruit a teacher of French and Spanish.
We require an appropriately qualified teacher to temporarily cover a 0.4 fte job-share teacher of French and Spanish post.
The position will be on a Monday and Tuesday from late January 2015 at least until Friday 1 May 2015.

A reminder that we have a signed Rangers FC football shirt and signed football to be used for Charities Week. A silent auction has been taking place. Pupils and parents have been writing down and submitting their bids. You can still make a bid, whether it is for yourself, your child, or as a gift for someone by sending it via your child, in a sealed envelope to Mrs Khan (F1) in the Mathematics department. Only a short time left! The closing date will be the end of the day on Wednesday 3rd December. Thereafter the highest bid will secure the framed signed Rangers shirt & signed football, and the donation made will all be given to charity, via our Charities Week total.
