Christmas Jumper Day at IMFC!

Today we wore our Christmas themed jumpers to help raise awareness and help to transform lives around the world – from children caught up in conflict in countries like Syria, to families living in the shadow of the Ebola crisis in West Africa.

We have collected just over £100.00 for the charity and we will let you know the grand total as soon as all donations are collected.

BIG SHOUT OUT!

We need your help……

If you can become one of ‘Santa’s Little Helpers’ for the day we would be most grateful

We are hoping parents will come along on

Wednesday 10th December

to help with some special Christmas jobs.

We will provide the mince pies, tea and coffee and you provide a helping hand!

Even if you can only spare half an hour – every little helps

We do not want to take staff away from the learning going on in the playrooms – we need your help!

Speak to Donna or Joanne to add your name to the list of parent helpers.

Christmas Open Day

Please drop in to nursery on Thursday 4th December to spend a time with your child as they complete a special Christmas gift they have made just for you!

Children across all playrooms have been busy preparing for the open day and it would be so lovely to see parents, friends and carers come along to join us – we might even have a mince pie for you!

We appreciate many parents work and will not be able to join us for this day. Please do not worry, all children will participate in the activities on the day.

‘A Christmas Evening’

This year we will be having our Christmas Event at Isobel Mair School on Wednesday 3rd December from 6:30 – 8:00pm.

Our Community Unity Choir with pupils from St Cadoc’s and Crookfur primary Schools will join some of our pupils, singing some Christmas Carols.

Christmas Card Orders

All children across our four playrooms have drawn a picture for their own individualised Christmas card. The sample arrived yesterday and staff have been catching parents to ensure these go home quickly so that orders are placed timeously.

Please return the template to us as quickly as you can as we are hoping to have a quick turn around to make sure we have the cards in plenty of time for posting!

LAST ORDER DATE STRICTLY Thursday 27th November.

Miss Dewhurst will be taking children to the Post Office to post the cards to the printer – so make sure your order is in on time!

Could all parents please note there has been a change to our yearly planner. The children’s Nativity performance at Newton Mearns Baptist Church has been changed from the 11th December to the 15th of December.
