Last week Advanced Higher English pupils from Woodfarm High School came to Giffnock Primary to work with our P7 pupils on the creation of a poem for Remembrance Day. A poem written by Roman, Kaya, Rai, Jamie and Poppy was chosen to be the centrepiece of a wreath laid at the War Memorial in Thornliebank. Photographs of the wreath can be seen below.
