Consultation for Joint Faith Campus
The second round of the consultation process for the Joint Faith Campus will take place on Tuesday of next week. The arrangements for this will be the same as the first consultation day.
We are currently upgrading some aspects of the main school office. This will hopefully only take a short time, and normal arrangements for use of the office will return as soon as possible. In the meantime we apologise if this causes any disruption.

Child Protection
East Renfrewshire Child Protection Committee are hosting three major events to tackle the concerns of parents, young people, staff and those in our local communities about exploitation in a number of ways, and at a time of increased media attention. Please see the attached flyer for more information on the events.
Purim Celebrations
Pupils and staff at Calderwood Lodge had a fantastic time today celebrating Purim in school. As usual there were many wonderful and creative costumes, and this year as Purim coincided with World Book Day we took the theme of ‘characters from stories and books’ to help us choose our costumes. The whole school celebrated in the hall with an assembly that included a fashion parade, a play presented by Primary 5, a comedy sketch from Mrs Yedd, Mrs Borowski and Shosh and a visit from our very own Smurf Rabbi Rubin. Activities carried on throughout the day linked to World Book Day. Look out for pictures to follow in The Jewish Telegraph and check back here later for a gallery of photographs from the day.

Purim
Next week we will once again be celebrating Purim. Purim coincides with world book day this year so we are taking the theme of characters from a story for our fancy dress costumes. Take a look in the latest news section next week for stories and pictures of the celebrations. In the meantime please click here to view a presentation about the festival of Purim. This presentation will give you information relating to the story that you may find helpful when talking with your child about their learning of the festival in school
