Jubilee Celebrations

Effective Contributors   Successful Learners

The Snowdrops enjoyed celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by decorating royal crowns and finger painting Union Jack flags.  Later, we  crushed and tasted some meringue and mixed it together with cream and strawberry sauce and cupcakes, too,  to make our own royal version of Eton Mess. Very tasty!

Celebrating the Jubilee!

The Asteroids had a fabulous time celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee!

We made cupcakes and decorated them and made extra for our families at home. Yum, yum!

While we were waiting for our cakes to bake, we had great fun playing with red and blue balloons.

This afternoon we enjoyed cutting and sticking to make the Queen’s face from images associated with the Queen and the royal family. We also made a Union Jack flag using our fingers and paint.

Happy Jubilee weekend, everyone!

Jubilee Fun in the Daisies Class!

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, EFFECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS *

The Daisies have enjoyed learning about the Queen’s upcoming Platinum Jubilee. We enjoyed watching some animated cartoons about the Queen and particularly enjoyed a cartoon about her corgi saving her wind blown hat!

We made royal jubilee play dough using flour, vegetable oil, water, yellow food colouring, glitter and gold paint. We used this to complete crown play dough mats.

We made paper plate crowns and enjoyed trying them on.

We also followed order forms to complete the Queen’s crown showing how many sequins she had asked for.

Finally, Harry and Logan practised following the patterns on Jubilee worksheets. They were both very focused during these tasks.
