Willowbank School, KilmarnockAustralia is our country for our topic work, we have been taking part in art work this week related to the beach. We have had a little bit of sunshine but despite the rain the rest of the week we have been experiencing things we would find at the beach, sand, shells and water.
This week for our Australian topic work we explored didgeridoo sounds. We made our own didgeridoo and enjoyed making a lot of noise. We were confident individuals in deciding our creative colourful design for our didgeridoo.
During Music we used sticks to work on our timing and rhythm to some Australian sounds, Kenny the Kangaroo and Kookaburra songs. They both had different speeds and the boys explored and demonstrated this well.
