The second half of the Transition class had their opportunity to show that they were Responsible Citizens this week. They used their community travel time to complete a litter pick. This also contributed to the school Eco aims. Great effort!
The Second half of the class had their opportunity to fly a kite this week, but……… there was no wind! Instead the group took the opportunity to demonstrate safe travel in the community and prove that they are Responsible Citizens. Well done everyone, I’m sure the wind will pick up soon!
Half the class had the opportunity to go on their community travel outing this week. They combined their trip out with one of their 50 Things to do in the Outdoors. This activity was flying a kite. The group were Responsible Citizens when crossing the road and walking to the park. The wind was variable but everyone managed to get the kite into the air. One pupil (who will remain nameless) managed to crash it into Mr Nicoll’s head. I hope it was an accident!
The Transition boys were Responsible Citizens this week when half of them travelled on the bus checking the bus times and then using their passes when they got on the bus. The rest of the boys walked into town using the crossing and looking for traffic before crossing the road, when they saw the bus pass they waved to their friends. The boys went to the shops where they purchased toiletries then had their snack before returning to school.
