We were very excited to welcome a dear friend of ours, Joan McDade to the school today to read aloud her new Scots book, ‘The Adventures of Ross and Cromarty’ to our infant classes. Joan was accompanied by Nadia Frew, her illustrator and Tracy Harvey, a local poet.
The children were engrossed in their story telling and are very excited to have a copy of the book in their class libraries.
Thank you Joan, Nadia and Tracy, we are extremely grateful of our partnership working with you.
We are delighted to welcome Miss White to New Cumnock Primary School as our Probationary Teacher next session. Miss White will be teaching Primary 5/6 and will be supported by Mrs McNulty.
Our children were very excited to meet Miss White today and are looking forward to joining her class in August.
And that’s a wrap!!!
What an amazing experience Mary Poppins JR has been!
I couldn’t be more proud of our incredibly talented children and grateful of the help of my wonderful colleagues, who have all worked so hard to make our school show for 2025 as sensational as it was!
We started with a standing ovation on opening night, what more could we ask for?!
Thank you for all your kind words about our production, your support means so much to us all!
Well done to Aurelia K who won the raffle for the special Mary Poppins coin!
Please enjoy a selection of photos I managed to snap throughout our show nights.
A very proud, Mrs McNulty ❤ x
